Location of Gulmarg Gulmarg is nestled in the Pir Panjal mountain range at an elevation of 2650 meters above sea level, about 50 kilometers from Srinagar in the Kashmir district of Baramulla. The settlement is located in the northwestern section of the valley, within the Gulmarg Wildlife Sanctuary.
