The Nishat Garden is located on the banks of Dal Lake in Srinagar. The Mughal-era Garden is known for its flowering plants and hedges. It is also known for its charming and mighty Chinar trees. Shalimar Garden is one of the two most visited Mughal Gardens in Srinagar. It is an enchanting place to spend some time with your loved ones. It is considered one of the must-visit places in Kashmir. Shalimar Garden was built by the Mughal Emperor Jahangir in 1619 and is located near Dal Lake. The garden covers an area of 31 hectares with a length of 587 metres on the main channel and a total width of 251 metres. The Shalimar Garden has three terraces with fountains and a panorama lined with Chinar trees. Spending some time here with your beloved will make you feel like a king.

The Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden is the best romantic spot in Srinagar for honeymooning couples. It is the largest tulip garden in Asia and overlooks Dal Lake at the foot of the Zabarwan Range. The garden was established in 2007 to boost tourism in Kashmir. The Garden has seven terraces and is laid out in steps on a slope. Besides tulips, many other types of flowers like hyacinths, daffodils, ranunculus, marigolds, and many more have been planted. Doodhpathri, also known as the ‘Valley of Milk’, is a hill station and a popular tourist destination in the Kashmir Valley. It is located in Budgam district, 42 kilometres from Srinagar. The water flowing through the meadows look milky from afar and is very cool all year round. Its splendour is enhanced by the dense emerald grass that covers the vast meadows and the silvery glistening streams that meander over the massive stones. Doodhpathri is a hilly, grassy terrain with an abundance of colourful flowers. To the west of Doodpathri is the famous Tosamaidan. The Lolab Valley, named after Maharaja Lolo, is known for its green meadows and forests. It stretches for about 25 km from north to south and is between a few metres and 5 km wide. It is traversed by the river Lalkul (Lahwal). Saints, poets, and philosophers have long admired the Lolab Valley, and it is also a popular destination for the Bollywood community. Other well-known locations with breathtaking landscapes are Bangus valley, Cherkoot, Dooruswani, Khurhama, Krusan, Khomrial, and Nagsari. Emperor Jehangir constructed a pleasure garden and a summer residence here. The Emperor Jehangir has built an octagonal pavement around the spring. This vacation spot is located in the Tehsil Shahabad Bala, around 26 kilometres from Anantnag Town. River Jhelum originates from this beautiful and mesmerising place. Kokernag is a natural water spring in the District Anantnag. Here is the appealing sight of a terraced Garden and botanical Garden with delicately managed flower beds of all sorts and hues covered and sheltered by finely groomed evergreen bushes.
